Curriculum/Philosophy

The Manchester Co-Op Preschool is a place for children to learn and socialize through play and exploration. The child-initiated learning projects embrace the excellence of Montessori style learning with a hands-on approach. The classroom is both functional and beautiful and blends some of the most inspiring programs that early childhood education has to offer. Here at MCP, we believe in the idea that our classroom is the “Children’s House”. The children are encouraged to initiate lessons, direct play, and create and care for their own learning environment.

3-5yr olds M/W/F 8:15-2:45

$275 tuition per month

8:15-8:30 Drop off- children put away belongings

8:30-8:40 Morning Work

8:40-9:00 Circle Time

9:00-9:30 Small Group Time

9:30-10:15 Center Play/Bathroom breaks

10:15-10:30 Clean up/Get ready for Outside

10:30-11:00 Outside

11:00-11:10 Wash hands for Lunch

11:10-11:45 Lunch

11:45-12:00 Bathroom/Get ready for Rest

12:00-1:00 Rest

1:00-1:45 Center Play/Bathroom breaks

1:45-2:00 Clean up/Wash for Snack

2:00-2:20 Snack

2:20-2:30 Circle

2:30-2:45 Pack Up

2:45 Dismissal
